WordPress gives you a very simple and straightforward way to extend the standard two data types (Posts and Pages) into an endless array for your custom needs. A graphic design agency or freelance web designer would need a “Project” post type. A artisit would need a “Paintings” post type. WordPress through custom post types lets you do this.
