Favourite WordPress Plugins to Like, Vote or Love Posts

Doing some online research and reviewing of WordPress plugins that would in some way imitate the thumbs up vote of Facebook. The need was to be able to record a vote count towards a particular WordPress post.

So far the following WordPress plugins are my favourite, the ones that I like, hmm maybe even love 🙂

WordPress Plugins that Love, Like or Favourite a Post

The following three are my favourites in one way or another because they allow to favourite, like or love a post as a way to show a vote towards that WordPress post.

Love It Pro for WordPress

Love It Pro is a simple plugin that allows you to add a “Love It” link to your posts and pages. The Love It links give your users a way to show their appreciation, much in the same way that the Facebook Like button works, except that it is specific to your website.

Favorites for WordPress

Enable or disable favorite functionality per post type while automatically adding a favorite button before and/or after the content. Or, use the included functions to display the button anywhere in your template. Favorites is multisite compatible, and provides functions for accessing user favorites across sites.

Designed for WordPress Developers Favorites works great out-of-the-box for beginners, but a full set of  template functions unlocks just about any sort of custom functionality developers may need. Favorites outputs the minimum amount of markup needed, putting the style and control in your hands.
